Leather breastplate with pauldrons and a tooled central design. Tooling also features on the back and each pauldron. While not fully bespoke, you can provide a few measurements for best fit, or give a T-shirt size. The breastplate curves slightly inward at the midsection for a slimming effect.

Custom RequestsI suggest you get in contact with me before you make this purchase. The versatile nature of this breastplate means there are a lot of factors to consider. The central design is the most obvious one, but there are also tooled designs on the pauldrons and back, borders, etc. I also have payment plans available.
Every execution of a design is a little different. If you'd like, you can have control over these details. For breastplates, this includes the border stamp and small variations in the design. You could opt to have cross-hatching in the body of your Norse dragon instead of dots, for example.
Please keep in mind that this is only for small details--if you need me to alter the pattern or redraw parts of a design, I'll be happy to do so, but I will have to set up a custom listing for you so please send me a message first.
ColorWhy does blue cost more? All of my stains are a one-step antique process except for blue, which is two steps. For this reason, all custom work that uses my blue stain has an additional charge.
If you want your armor to really pop, you can pick a secondary color as well, which means that the design and border will be a different color from the base. It is usually painted, allowing for a huge range of colors, including metallics and white. If you want a color not listed, or a specific shade, include that in the custom requests box.
Please note that the color of your piece might vary slightly from the featured swatches due to the variance of both screens and leather. The brighter colors (green, purple, and blue) have greater variation than the browns and black.
MeasurementsPlease provide the following measurements for best fit. If you can't get measurements, I can work from a T-shirt size as well.

WyrmborderA dragon whose body is formed by the borders of the armor. Similar dragons on the pauldrons and a triquetra-like shape on the back.
Stag and WolfA detailed Celtic knot featuring a stag and wolf entwined. Pauldrons will not be as shown--they will be the rounded cup style. Simple knots on the back and pauldrons.
DragonA rampant dragon on the chest, with areas of dragonscale on the pauldrons and back.
SquidIntricate squid Celtic knot on the chest with nautical-ish knots on the back and pauldrons.
Other DesignsI can put any of my bracer or pouch designs on the chest of a breastplate. The rampant lion, rampant wolf, and Celtic stag options show an example of what these may look like. Rampant animals and rounded shapes fill the shape very nicely. I can also do the oak trefoil design with regular vines or rose vines.

Care and Feeding
My leather pieces are covered in a water-based sealant that is water-RESISTANT but not water-PROOF, so avoid submersion and torrential rain. For added water resistance and suppleness, they've been treated on both sides with mink oil. For cleaning, you can spot clean with a damp cloth, or use a soft-bristled brush and a glycerine cleaner like Oakwood. You may wish to occasionally treat them with another coat of mink oil and/or a waterproofing spray like Gardmore Rain and Stain Repellent. Don't store your pieces in direct sunlight, which can cause brighter dyes like purple, blue, and green to fade. The color of leather develops over time, as it can tan much like human skin does.
