Price Ranges

The price for custom work is heavily dependent on the project. Medium-size armor projects (such as a pair of pauldrons or a kidney belt) usually hover around $500, and larger armor projects tend to be around $4000.
Here are the main factors that increase cost:
  • Multiple colors
  • More pieces in the pattern
  • New patterns or modifying a pattern (making a pouch bigger, etc.)
  • More tooling
  • New artwork
  • Intricacy of designs
I have a range of products and designs available in the shop. Check there first to see if what you'd like is available.
New designs can be added to standard items (such as belt pouches) for an additional charge. If the design is something I can use for future projects, it will be discounted. Modifications can also be made to existing designs, like turning a squid into an octopus or putting a different animal head on a zoomorphic knot. A very small adjustment, like putting a horn on a horse to make a unicorn, will add nothing to the cost.

When I get back to you we'll work out the details, including a quote, delivery time, colors, sizing, etc. I'll be picking and choosing from the requests I receive, so please be patient.
