Price Ranges

The price for custom work is heavily dependent on the project. Medium-size armor projects (such as a pair of pauldrons or a kidney belt) usually hover around $650, and larger armor projects tend to be around $4000.
Here are the main factors that increase cost:
  • Multiple colors
  • More pieces in the pattern
  • New patterns or modifying a pattern (making a pouch bigger, etc.)
  • More tooling
  • New artwork
  • Intricacy of designs
I have a range of products and designs available in the shop. Check there first to see if what you'd like is available.
Custom artwork can be added to existing products for an additional charge. If it's a design I can use for other pieces, it will be discounted. Modifications can also be made to my existing designs, like turning a squid into an octopus or putting a different animal head on a zoomorphic knot. A very small adjustment, like putting a horn on a horse to make a unicorn, will add nothing to the cost.

From November 2022 through January 2023, you can use this form to request quotes for fully custom projects. I would love to help bring your vision to life. If you can't find what you're looking for in my shop, describe it here. When I get back to you we'll work out the details, including a quote, delivery time, colors, sizing, etc. I'll be picking and choosing from the requests I receive, so please be patient.
